Friends I Recommend
As a sign said in my dear old Nan's kitchen, 'It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice'.
I am lucky enough to share my life with some brilliantly talented friends who are my go-to people whenever I require a product, service or information about their respective, specialist fields, and so I'd like to tell you about them and spread the love and great work that they do.

Health & Wellbeing
Karen is a nutritionist based in Newcastle, Australia. I have known and loved her since primary school and she is passionate about nourishing people, which is why she set up Nourish Nutrition.

I have known Jenny for a decade, and what a decade it's been. Probably the most caring person I know, it's no surprise that she's an expert in social care and co-owns/runs a rehab referral business for clients who'd like help with substance misuse issues privately.
Ellie is a beauty consultant based in West London who me and my pubic mons were introduced to in 2009. Sisters (and Mum) are really doing it for themselves in her family-run salon at PROhands. A haven in the middle of Acton.

Music
Jo is a violinist on the London / Essex borders who works all over the shop. I met her at primary school and she hasn't been able to get rid of me since. You may have seen her on X Factor or playing for the likes of Rod Stewart and Kanye West. Check out her website for more details.

Art
Sarah is an illustrator I met at the University for the Creative Arts when we were studying for our Visual Communication degrees. I love Sarah's vibe in life and her drawing is a joy. Have a look at some stuff here.

Lucia is a children's artist I've known since we worked together in local government drug & alcohol commissioning. I really appreciate her practical yet sensitive approach to everything in life. Reminding me of Gandhi somewhat, Lucia's speciality is murals (for which Gandhi was not so famous, I know). She introduced me to The Mighty Boosh and sudokus, and hates 'The Man' knowing where she is and what she's up to, hence an unregistered Oyster Card and the image available here.

Literary
Selin is a script consultant I met at Bournemouth Media School whist doing our Masters, then she married her yoga teacher and moved to Western Australia. I really like the childlike wonder that Selin manages to retain in her adult life. If you have a script you'd like read, go to Magic of Story.

Andrew is a satirical TV commentator I met when we were working on the Fimbles together. I can really see him living USA West coast style some day. He loves a bit of hysterical drama and I love him for it. That and the fact he follows my Dad on Twitter, despite Dad never saying anything (on Twitter) . Check out his blog (Andrew's, not my Dad's).
