Knock Knock
Knock Knock is a short film exploring ventriloquism, football and allegiance. See comedy, performance, accent and identity intersect whilst involving burqas, soccer and puppetry.
The film follows a character - Susan, playing Gottla (played by me) as she performs a ventriloquist's routine with her puppet, Geer (played by Geer Geer). Both wear Burqas*, both like football.
Susan / Gottla has enough time to make it to the match after her routine, only she's left with an awkward choice of costumes (and allegiances) to wear down to the ground.
*Which obscure their lips, yes.
